About Us

This is us in Medellin, Colombia. God spoke to us during that trip and reminded us that He has a plan for us. He has a plan that is far greater than anything we could dream up for ourselves. He has a plan and He will be there to guide and direct us. He will tell us where He wants us to Go.


This is our story. This is God's story. This is the story of a young couple seeking God's will for our lives. God has written His plan for us on our hearts.

Jeremy, a pastor's grandson and an ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene. Me, the daughter of Christian parents who have encouraged her love of travel and cultures. We met when I visited Laurel University (then John Wesley College) in the fall of 2008. Jeremy was working in the admissions office as work study student and Melissa was a senior in high school. (He thought I was cute.)

After a few months of friendship and eight months of dating, we were engaged in May of 2010. Almost a year to the day later, we were married on May 21, 2011.

Today, we are in El Escorial, Spain. We are adapting to a new language and culture. We are figuring out what this calling is all about. We don't know what the next few years of our lives will look like, but neither does any one else. We are trusting God to lead us and teach us. We are loving the people of Spain because God loves the people of Spain.
